Grid Monitoring Provides an overview of the latest measurements from all of your instrumented lines What is it? The Grid Monitoring page is where you can get provides an overview of the latest measurements and short-term forecasts for all your all monitored lines. Here , you, as a the user , can see all instrumented lines and their contextual information, including conductor types, rated temperature, rated voltage, SLR, and the number of spans monitored. You also get an overview of the development and latest measurements of current, temperature, clearance, and DLR. DLR is available in real-time values, and forecasted for 4 hours ahead. This page makes it easier to navigate when multiple lines are monitored, and when you want an overview of all the installed lines in one intuitive dashboard. How to use By using the Grid Monitoring page to have an overview of their instrumented lines, you can easily stay updated on your lines' latest measurements and status. All the information boxes on the grid monitoring page can be pressed, and will navigate the user to the page that tells more about the respective parameter for the respective line. The The grid monitoring page is primarily designed for and used by system operators. It works well as a passive monitoring screen at the center of operations.Monitor the state and development of key values such as conductor temperature and clearance to ground in the OHL network Monitor the current and forecasted capacity of overhead power linesSort & filter lines by important metrics like highest temperature or lowest clearanceThe Grid Monitoring page is by default in card-view and sorted on Name. The user can easily change to table-view. The user can also sort the list on Name, Current, Wire Temperature, and Clearance by pressing the respective buttons, which supports an even higher volume of power lines in a single view. ContentsAll the page-components and buttons with their interactions are explained below Top-Bar In the top-bar, the user can easily refresh the page by clicking the Refresh-button. The user can also change between Table-view and Card-view by pressing the button for the desired view. The confidence interval used for all the forecasted DLRs can also be chosen using the drop-down in the top-bar. The time interval for the viewed Emergency Rating can also be changed in the drop-down. Sorting-Bar Sort bar By default, the Grid Monitoring page is sorted on the Line Names in ascending order (A-Z). The sorting can be changed by interacting with the sorting-bar. If pressing Name again, the order will change to descending (Z-A). When pressing Current or Wire Temperature, the table is sorted with the respective parameter in descending order (High-Low). By pressing the button again, the order will change to ascending (Low-High). If pressing Clearance in the sorting-bar, the table is sorted in ascending order (Low-High). If pressed again, the order will change to descending (High-Low). Line Meta InformationThe Line Meta Information contains static information about the line. Here the user can see the line conductor type(s) on the respective line, the rated temperature, the line rating, the rated voltage, and # of spans monitored. If the line name is clicked, the user is navigated to the Line Monitoring-page of the respective line. Measurement CardsMeasurement cards gives a quick overview of the latest development of essential parameters. Here, the user can see how the maximum Currentcurrent, maximum Wire Temperaturewire temperature, and minimum Clearance clearance has developed, and what the latest measurement is. This makes it easy for a user to quickly get informed about the status of the power line, and to deem if further whether investigation into data from the power line is needed. The Emergency Line Rating and DLR can also be seen here. The DLR card has a cards color-codingcoded; where Green means that it’s above the SLR, Gray means it’s the same as the SLR, and Red means it’s below the SLR.Each of the Measurement Cards can ble clicked, and Measurement cards are interactive. Upon clicking, the user will be navigated to the Line Monitoring page for the respective line. Forecast CardsForecast cards shows the short-term forecasted DLR. It shows the first 4 hours of forecasted values. The Forecast cards has a color-coding; where Green means that it’s above the SLR, Gray means it’s the same as the SLR, and Red means it’s below the SLR.
